Requirements

A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer)
A recent macOS (the exact minimum is published with the release)
Khmer voices and speech recognition run on the Mac itself
Free disk space for the AI models you install (1–4 GB each)

Install

Open the downloaded .dmg and drag BongKert Studio into Applications.
The first time, right-click the app and choose Open, then Open again.
In the app, open Settings → Speech and install the AI components you need.

An NVIDIA graphics card for local Khmer voices
Free disk space for the AI models you install

Install

Run the setup program.
If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
In the app, open Settings → Speech and install the AI components you need.

AI components install from inside the app.

The installer stays small. Open Settings → Speech and add only what you need: Khmer speech recognition, speaker detection, audio separation. Each one downloads once and is checked before it is used.

Final system requirements are published with each release. Updates install in place and keep your projects, voices, models and settings.
