AI Models
What runs on your computer, and what doesn't.
Every AI component is optional and installs from inside the app. Local components run on your machine and work offline once installed. Translation is the only cloud step, and it uses your own Gemini or OpenAI key.

Checked before use
Every component is pinned to an exact version, and its files are verified before the app counts it as installed.
Your keys stay yours
Cloud keys are kept in your computer's own credential store (Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows). The installer never contains anyone else's keys.
Licences
Each model has its own licence. The licence for every component is listed here before public release, after it has been verified at its source.
